A new Begginning

Finally the day has come ... WE GRADUATED! It has been hard work and a lot of sacrifice to achieve but we did it! Thursday night we had the commencement and the lady that inspired the Movie Freedom Writes spoke, it was a great speech, and super inspirational. Then we had family over for dessert and my mom and I prepped for brunch in the morning. I tried out and learned a lot of new recipes over the weekend all of which turned out great thank goodness. Friday we had convocation which is where we walked at the early hour of 830! It was so fun that Brian and I both graduated from the school of business and got to walk with each other. It was a great way to end such a stressful, exciting chapter of our lives that we started 5 years ago together. Remembering all that we have done over that time, it is amazing to me of all that we have accomplished. So far we are sticking to our 5 year plan we started on when we got married. Next for us is to get Brian through graduate school. He will be taking the GMAT soon and after that he will start the application process. It will be exciting to start this new chapter of life. I am so proud of all that we have achieved and am excited for all that is to come.

We did it!

Could not have done it with out the support of these two they kept us going through it all

yay a picture with the grandmas we love you both

We did it together... now time to take over the world

Courtney was in town this weekend with her friend Jeff for Supercross and they stayed with us Friday night. It was so fun to see them both. Always fun to play games with Court and Morgan, they do not handle loosing well and it is very entertaining. Justin also was able to come down from Rexburg for the weekend. It is funny how alike he and Brian are. The two of them together just makes me laugh they just have a different type of humor. My Mom was able to come up the weekend before so we got to spend some time together and visit with Cindi and Michael before they went home to Hawaii. My dad arrived Wednesday night and  made me the coolest surprise gift ever (picture to come). I am working on decorating our TV room to be "Cinema themed" and they supplied the letters shown in an earlier post and now he has made me a film clapper! It is amazing. My grandma also contributed to the room she was at a thrift store and came across a film reel. I have looked online for months for one and was just not willing to pay $50+ for a fake one. She found this real one for $1 yes $1 and it is real. I love how they all think about us through out their days and find us/ make us such treasures. Both grandmas also made it for the weekend. I am so glad that Grandma Douglass could make it up from California and that she will be here for her 7th great-grandbabies birth such a proud week for her.

It was just great having family in town and spending time with everyone. I wish we lived closer or had more vacation time so that we could visit more often. We love you all and are so grateful for the support you have given and continue to give. You are the best family we could ever ask for.
