trip to california!

We went home to california for a short weekend. we arrived last thursday and returned home sunday night all the time off we could get with work. We arrived at long beach and my parents picked us up. when we got home we celebrated my dad's birthday. best dad ever so glad we could celebrate that with him. Friday we ran errands with mom and set up for another bridal shower for sarah my mom and mimi were throwing.Jordan found a new favorite hang out at hanger 18 so i watched him and brian rock climb for awhile before the shower. Fun to see all the glendora ladies.

Sat we hung out and ran more errands and set up for Sarah's reception some then went to the Morgan's. we went out to dinner and played games. so much fun to see them. Then Sunday we went to church followed by more games and Dillan's baptism before heading back to the airport. Dillan loves the books "diary of a wimpy kid" we found a game called zooey mamma he loved it. so great to find a game he can play with everyone. The baptism was great we were so glad to be able to attend. Our flight was delayed a bit so we hung out at the airport and read all the magazines on the rack. just kept waiting for the lady to tell me to buy one if i wanted to keep reading but never happened so that was nice. Sunday was out 1 year anniversary. Crazy how fast a year goes buy. In the last year Kevin has returned home from Romania, we were married, got our first apartment went on our first trip together, i started a new job, we moved to Utah, bought our first house and our first car together, Brian got a promotion we started new schools and so much more. so much has happened and life's not slowing down. Loved this first year and ready for many many more. Met a lady the other day who is celebrating her 60th wedding anniversary hope we can make it that far if we do we'll be 80 years old:) i think we can do it. So happy to spend our anniversary with family and hope to see them all soon.
